Halloween is just around the corner! I love this time of year, decorating the house, scaring the older kids when they come up our dark driveway … 🙂
I also love dressing up, but the only occasion I’ve had in the past 10 years or so to wear a costume have been at Halloween-themed milongas. I’ve hosted a couple of Halloween tango events myself, and they’ve always been a great deal of fun. Some people put the greatest costumes together.
I don’t know if I’ll go to any this year, depending on family schedules, but I’ve compiled a calendar list of local Halloween tango events that you might enjoy. You can view the upcoming Halloween Tango events in Los Angeles here.
If you don’t see you’re event here, you can submit an event here.
Meanwhile, here’s a gallery of photos from the three-day Los Angeles Tango Masquerade festival that I produced and cohosted in 2008! Most photos were taken by Vladimir Estrin of Tango Afficionado.
